That is what I mean, with ICQ they are delivered even after you have gone of line,
We have only just got it, so we are still trying it out.

But if you go in to Tools you can get back any messages that was there before you loged off.
Ive only just recently found that out

ICQ seems to be what i need then...
Sometimes i only quickly browse through the offline messages [not that many but still] and don't have time to read them properly... and once i've exited i'm not able to read them again..

I've been back on the Digibox for a little while... but that's not the main reason why i haven't been much on Hootoo... Hopefully this long overdue week off will help me getting some energy back as well...

There are some goodies for Buffy fans in my last journal entry... I wanted to do more with Buffy [i mean the Buffy page of course...] but was drastically and very rudely delayed with TW too quick to reduce their services unfortunately... I will post more goodies soon anyway so it's not too bad...

Its a night mare when you have to back to digiebox after getting used of a pc i was only a day with out mine yesterday which was a night mare

Though some things never change... I got paid Yesterday [i'm being paid every four weeks] but it's already gone... Well not completly, but once all the bills/etc are paid there won't be much left for myself... Oh well i will have to spend more time on H2G2 then...

Oh you will soon get in the habbit of compplaining about how slow the pc is running we all do when we get used of it running so smoothly

And what makes you relise that H2G2 is slow is when you go to other web sites and they load quick, and then you come back to here

manda ive not been anywhere else but i can see how slow its became since i first loged on today.

Midnight... "running smoothly" and _my_ PC don't really go together in the same sentence... But at least i know i can improve its performance a bit eventually...

The Buffy page i mentioned in my journal entry is only one of the items which will be part of my website []... the X-Files will certainly have their own page there as well soon[ish]... plus other stuff i'm interested in...
On the plus side, i learned a lot about HTML, java script and all that jazz... Some nifty tricks can be achieved... I intended to experiment on a few more but found myself web-less before i could have a go...
Lots of catching up to do next week...

The year 2000 was the worst for me... Then things improved slowly but surely... too slowly of course, but at least things are getting better...

LOUP Mine seems to run smoothly for ages no probs then all of a suden like yesterday it just wouldnt do anything it died on me
I dont know why but im haveing problems to defrag it
Not got a clue why it wont never had problems with it before.

I'm getting back into the drift of things... I've just posted the link for the Advice Corner...

Midnight... Yeah, mine does tend to play tricks on me at the most inconvenient times... But the last problems are memory related so it's not too bad compared to some of the problems i had before...

I dunno if my website will be successful... I can't spend the time necessairy to make it great unfortunately... but it's an interesting challenge for me and a different way of sharing my interests/etc with other people... the use of sounds/music/etc in it is also one of the things i want to experiment with... I might never finish it but at least i will have had fun trying...

Anyway, i'm going offline soon as well so i can't go on and on about it right now...

i have a scrolling mouse i pressed the middle bit in its a round thing to go up and doen the page and it set off the speed of light up the page dragging me along for the ride
