it is the beleife of most christians that homosexuality is a moral sin. this is the same thing i beleive. i have no better reason to back up my beleif than any of you. it is just what i beleive. the thought of a homosexual couple at all(not just in the bedroom) makes me sick to my stomach.

i have decited that i am not intellegent enough to continue to try to give you reasons. i am not "josh the genious" and if you noticed i found no clever names to use instead of caleb16. <wich is an outdated name anyway. i apoligise but i must resign from this thread.

ps there are no reported cases of incest between a very loving christian hetrosexual families either

well I know of people abused by their christian parents. Although my parents arn't christian they are very fundamental christian in their beliefs. We all consider them to be christian, they deny it. Oh and my dad tried to screw me from the ages of 11 and 16.

So don't try and believe christians are any better, then anyone else.

Shame. I will sort of miss you (who knows, you might still be around...) since I have no similarly incendiary conversations.
You do yourself a disservice in belittling your intelligence, of which I am not placed to judge- at least you came back for more whereas Josh has, it seems, b******d off.
Just like Justin... and ThEntity...
perhaps our (well, my) motives are misunderstood? There is no one arguing purely to vex, or disgust, or even change your opinions, but because disagreement is fun (just like Smut!... smiley - winkeye) and also encouraging. However, from the arguments here and mentioned above, I am becoming increasingly suspicious. Rarely do I get so tired of a debate that I leave, even with the most stubborn. (Challenge!) This is because I am sure of my argument. (Not absolutely sure- I take a Bayesian approach.) It begins to look odd when 3 or 4 people of the same opinion leave, abruptly- and, in the case of the others, who did not announce their departure, ignorantly- in the middle of a heated discussion. (Which should be when they are most keen to prove their point, rather than when no one is speaking except to breathe fire.) Are they, then, not as sure of their arguments as they make out to be? have they been proved wrong, or modified their opinion?
You think you can't argue here because you're not clever enough. Is that a fault with us (too clever), or our arguments (too clever and, perhaps, stand up too well to criticism?) If it's a fault with you, genuinely (rather than just an excuse to leave), there are cures for stupidity. smiley - winkeye
btw, there are many reported cases. Many. Which proves nothing.
And, how would you know they were a gay couple? Scent?

BTW, most Christians *DON'T* believe homosexuality to be a mortal sin, at least according to statistics I've seen.

The trouble with many situations is that your only perception of any group is the part of that group near you. Most of the Christians you have contact with may well think that homosexuality is a mortal sin, but as you're a rather rabid Christians yourself that's hardly surprising. Very few of the Christians I have met personally believe it to be a mortal sin. Some believe it's wrong, but are content to live and let live. Most don't see it as a Christian issue. After all, how can you take someone seriously when they argue for the inviolable nature of the Bible if they're wearing polycotton sweaters?

You know when you click on someone's name in a conversation, go to another of their conversations, click on someone else's name, rread their conversations etc.?

Well, that's how I found this thread. About an hour ago. Reading through the backlog, I was wondering if I could option it for a movie?

I can see it now, the epic blockb=uster of 2003.

"Reactions to Your Comments" (18). Starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as a couple of good old boys from the bible belt who are forced to confront the evil spectre of liberalism, spearheaded by the despotic Rocket Man (Alan Rickman), Geoff Taylor (Billy Connolly), the inconsiderate Ste (Christopher Lee), the hellbound Ross (Elton John), the horrifyingly immoral duo of Mandragora and Queex (Glenn Close and Winona Ryder) and Paganistic tree-hugger Alji (Anthony Hopkins). The only support our heroes Josh (Affleck) and Caleb (Damon) find comes from the benevolent Two-Bit Trigger Pumping Moron (Charlton hestoN). two good old christians finding their infallible concepts challenged by all these gang-banging, dope-smoking, new age hippy sluts. How will they cope?

TWO CHRISTIANS. S***LOADS OF LIBERALS. THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND!

Egon Films presents: REACTIONS TO YOUR COMMENTS. Coming soon to a church near you.
