It's Nice to be Appreciated

Tonight I was given a box of chocolates (To share with Sarah the other night chef) by the lads who guard the accomadation block as a thank you for 'Looking after them', 
no boys I don't mean that, we give them vittles they're not entitled to such as tea, coffee, milk and sugar
As the title says it really is nice to be appreciated once in a while

You know it's a bad day.....

....When you go to the doctors for a prescription review and come away with a suspected cracked rib.
I have to have an annual prescription review so see whether I still need my medication (Duh I'm a diabetic I'm on mediaction for the rest of my life) as a lot of you know I've had a cough since new year and now my ribs hurt when I cough, I mentioned this to the doc and he had a listen to my back and had a prod of my ribs, conclusion I've probably pulled something whilst coughing and more thqan likely cracked a rib.
I wish I knew how I'd cracked it

Those who speak to me regularly know I work in a haunted hospital, the last 3 nights that I've been at work the radio has played Ghostbusters

I have been officially declared uncool by my 10 year old daughter because I can't play her PS2 games 
I can beat her to a standstill at Sabrina the Teenage Witch on PC tho 
and we're evenly matched at 21/Blackjack/Pontoon/Whatever you want to call it
*Sniff*
I'm still uncool tho, I thought parents were only uncool when they say 'That's not music it's a godawful noise'
