Tonight I was given a box of chocolates (To share with Sarah the other night chef) by the lads who guard the accomadation block as a thank you for 'Looking after them', no boys I don't mean that, we give them vittles they're not entitled to such as tea, coffee, milk and sugar

As the title says it really is nice to be appreciated once in a while

I got a thank you card at work today, made my day! Nice feeling isn't it?

Something like that can really boost your day

In the army they usually don't go for giving Thank You Cards,its more a hearty hand shake,in a Very Masculine way,a pat on the back and a "Job Well Done There Corporal."

Still its better than them roaring at you an inch from your face as you slowly drown form the deluge of saliva that is hitting you.

Well you macho army boys don't go in for that touchy feely stuff do you?

No,its considered "girly" by the NCO's and privates,and "not character building" by the officers.

I know, mind you they don't mind getting touchy feely with the girls
