Sir Cal of Fortuneswell is very shy
For what reason, no-one knows why
He thinks his work is second rate
and something for you to hate
He does not quite understand
that his work would be in demand
so hides that wonderful star away
And under a bushel it will stay

Come out Sir Cal where 'ere you be
You have a poem to pen for me
This is the corner of hootoo
Where critics will not bother you
So get your ass round here right smart
And practise this most noble art.

The purpose of this thread you see
Was to end exclusivity
To those who thought that they were right
I say, so what, forget the fight

Yesterday is dead and gone
And real life she just trundles on
We can all learn to how to behave
As we step closer to the grave

So keep the dummies in the pram
And and write a poem - that was my plan
For everyone who loves the rhyme
To meet, to play, enjoy the time

Life is short, and the dead stay dead
So please remember what I've said
Just promise that we'll all be nice
And play along like happy mice

I'm I upset you, Fizzy
Sometimes my brain just does go dizzy
Which is when I say words all wrong
So I won't make this poem long.

Sisters

Hootoo sisters we are three
Giggling Lil and Bel and me
You’ll see us bouncing through the threads
Playing with each others heads

Having a laugh when things look bad
It’s what we do when we are sad
So just like real life friends we’ll play
And that’s the way it’ll always stay

The Hootoo sisters - friends for life
We’ll stick together - handle strife
And grow together, learn our lessons
On seemingly endless internet sessions

So if you think you’ve made our measure
Think again - and dig for treasure
It’s there to find for those who look
And it’s addictive - that’s the hook.
