It's not like I'd be missed. I can barely stand to post on here these days. Everything I say gets moderated, under the pretence of being offensive...

Have you emailed TPTB? Or started an *Ask Hootoo*? Perhaps the best way to solve a problem is to bring it out into the open. If I was going to be pushed off the site, I'd kick and scream all the way to the door!

You remind me of a seriocomic description of how the British won WWII. It was described as a combination of the public believing the *someone* would take care of it and the utter disbelief in a total change to their way of life. Sort of like *stumbling towards ecstacy* except that ecstacy seems to be the statis quo.

And it occurs to me that the inordinate interest that BB, crazyhorse, and especially Loup d'Argent have taken in this thread is very, very telling.

Oh Luthiena. You really should do something (or get someone else too). Does no-one in real life (other than you and your stalker) know what's going on?

I wish I knew who was posting all these queued for moderation postings, guessing it's baboon. But it's annoying.

Seriously Ena, if things are getting worse you need to do something. I know you don't like it and you don't feel that you're too well supported but sometimes you need to bite the bullet and change things. If you tell someone like teachers, social workers, police - even your GP they have a legal resposibility to help you and look after you so there will be someone there to support you.

I have to echo the sentiments of honest lago ena... this could be very serious, you should at least tell someone in RL, I for one am a little bit concerned by what you are saying.
I think mayhap you ought to talk to Azahar about this in private somewhere I am *sure* she can give you some good advice...

I've told my girlfriend in real life but I don't think she thinks it's too serious.

I think perhaps you should take HL advice and speak to a teacher or your parents... it might not be all that serious now but it could get a lot worse you know...
From what you say he sounds like a creep and you really ought to do something about it.

It has got a bit worse, I think, I received a text message last night that I'm positive is from him but as it wasn't signed I can't prove it.

Well, was it an anonymous text message? Or did your phone register a From: number and a Message Centre number? If it did, you can find out (I could help you if you like) which Phone Operator the Centre number belongs to, and you can then make a complaint about that phone number to the Operator, state your case, and ask for basic details to confirm the identity of the moron. They may not give out such details to 'normal' people though. Authorities may need to be contacted.
Unless you know the From: (phone) number is his afterall, in which case, you have proof.
One thing I will say though is, DON'T DELETE that message.
It's evidence for your case, no matter who gets involved - from the Police, to a scary-and-intimidating-looking friend.
