Ena evidently it is up to you whatever you do I would never intend to pressure you into any kind of behaviour, I understand that it is difficult if one does not like confrontation but I *really* think you need to talk to someone about this his behavior is not on, possibly even criminal.

Not being able to do it for yourself is partly why Saturnine suggested an intimidating looking friend. It's a bit like the selection of bouncers for door-duty or body-guards. Sometimes the mere appearance is what does a lot of the job (though occasionally that can cause trouble too, with people choosing to attack anyone tough-looking).

My on the matter is that this *is* abuse and it is also illegal (not to mention totally creepy). You have asked a person not to touch you and they continue to do so. Meanwhile, I don't see why you should worry about his feelings when he obviously has no regard for yours.

If you want to avoid a confrontation perhaps you could just let him know that you happened to mention his behaviour and his name to your parents and they have said that if he continues they are going to report him to the police.

In fact, I think you *should* tell your parents if you haven't already.

Please take the advice of everyone on this thread and do something about it before he decides to take it further. I feel quite frightened for you.

No, Ferrettbadger, you completely misunderstand the nature of reality here to assume that baboon would be put on pre-mod. Think about who is being attacked and why and where the major players stand on that issue.

Unfortunately forgetting or never realising that there is bias (and that what you expect to see is not the same as what actually is) is a common problem or assumption. That's a big part of why there are so few scientists. It is also why the natural assumptions here (and everywhere) are so insidious. They build up into a false view in those who don't bother to check who is telling the truth and what the facts are.

I didn't realise that this was all over the Telewest business. For pity's sake Baboon that was months ago. Many people lost contact with friends briefly but I've managd to get back in contact with all of mine and I'm sure ost others have on here too. Just let it go and leave Sat alone
