Hey again!
Kaz Posted Jul 8, 2004
no, I didn't hear anything. Pity, it sounds quite fun. Do they run it every year?
...well, 'drive' would be more appropriate wouldn't it? sorry! !
Hey again!
NPY Posted Jul 9, 2004
yeah it's every year. think lots of people race in it that race in the tt races in the isle of white or the isle of mann, whichever isle it is.
i know people who live on the track, and they hate it coz they're either stuck at home all day or they have to get away early.
Hey again!
Kaz Posted Jul 10, 2004
that must be really annoying. I know it would bug me.
I didn't know about the IOW race, which is daft because the IOW's not far from me, I'm in Hampshire.
Hello from rainy Hampshire!!!
btw, I've put a thing on my page about the chocmuffin smiley campaign. obviously not many people visit my page cos I haven't had anyone ask me about it yet!
Hey again!
NPY Posted Jul 11, 2004
you joking bout the smiley? we have to have one!!
well, the motorbikes do get a bit annoying, but luckily i don't live that close to the track, so it doesn't affect me unless i need to go near it.
but hey...i live in northern ireland! there's any excuse to get lots of people out on the streets...but luckily not all involve riots....just watch the news tomorrow night!
Hey again!
NPY Posted Jul 11, 2004
and to support your quest i've put a thing on my page too...dunno who'll see it, but maybe we can pull something off.
Hey again!
Kaz Posted Aug 10, 2004
hope so.
ta. Sorry I'm so late getting back to you. tons of things seem to be getting in the way of me getting on the net at the mo.
Hey again!
Kaz Posted Aug 10, 2004
just seen your page-its great, really funny!
Thanks for the banner!
Hey again!
Kaz Posted Aug 14, 2004
absolutely!
you know, I'm sure its a studenty thing. We all used to eat them at college. Boost energy levels for exams! I think out of the brownie/chocmuffin thing I prefer brownies though. Dunno why. Although is it me, but whenever you buy brownies, they're never as nice as if you make them yourself? Odd that. Bit like shop bought fruitcake too.

think it's one of those great mysteries of life, like why the school canrteen's spagetti bolonagse is nowhere near as nice as your mum's.
but chocmuffins - there's a wee coffee bar thingy that does lovely muffins at my uni. had one last week that was your usual double choc chip, with whit choc icing on top. yummy.
Hey again!

Yum!
Found a great recipe for Cranberry and cinammon muffins recently. Sounds an odd combination I know but its really nice. I'm quite a big fan of the blueberry ones myself. Trouble is, if you buy them, they're always very greasy. Will have to find a recipe and make some.
Hey again!
NPY Posted Aug 18, 2004
cranberry and cinnamon actually sounds quite nice..interesting combination, but if i ever see any i'll have to try them.
Hey again!
Kaz Posted Sep 8, 2004
no, I meant in the house!
see, I was going to put the recipe on h2g2, that was the idea. Sorry!
but I might just look on the net...
Hey again!
NPY Posted Sep 9, 2004
sorry...my mistake.
but it'll be somewhere. fate has it it'll only show up when you're not looking for it. don't forget that.
Hey again!
NPY Posted Sep 9, 2004
but once you find it you have to put it in here.
would be interesting to try.
