By the way, how did you do all the cool graphics and stuff on your page? I'm a beginner at this homepage thing you see. I mean, my internet knowledge is pretty good, but I seem to have missed that.

i must confess that i have joined the prefectionists. sorry if that upsets you. they're not that bad - it's not something i'd really call a cult - sounds too sinister and evil.
the moving stuff - well i'll admit to cheating a bit with that one. I kinda asked someone else how they did it on their page and they gave me the code for it.
Want it? There you go. All you need to do is persoinalise it - smileys and words and stuff. see how it goes.

I hate to be pedantic and everything, but what if I wanted to do something like that without smilies? is the thing just to do with that? I mean, should you close the marquee (</&gt and then put in the text? like or something?

Thanks. I tried to talk to clive the flying Ostrich as he seems pretty knowledgeable about this stuff, but he hasn't replied yet. I think he might be a bit busy with Uni work.
I think for the mo I'll just add all the links and stuff in in text, cos it really doesn't like me using guide ML. I tried editing your template and it still wouldn't work!

one day in school last year mine kept crashing and i was so close to punching it , the teacher or bother.

oh he kept thinking i'd done something to the computer to make it crash, but it did it itself. I mean, it had been there longer than me and probably still is there.

i do that all the time - letters the wrong way rond or just hitting all the wrong keys.

I bought the Salmon of Doubt today. Haven't started reading it yet though. Oh, and Clive helped me sort out my page over the weekend, nice person that he is. God knows how long I spent on the internet talking to him about it. we had so much trouble with it.

yeah. i think they must've changed the release date, cos in our bookshop it said it was going to be out on the 10th May...Obviously not. I'm glad they moved it forward

looked in easonbs in town but never saw it. not even in the new releases.

Oh. I found my copy in Ottakars, but I looked in WHSmith out of interest and it wasn't in there, so I think perhaps distribution is a bit erratic at the moment.
Oh well.
