NPY Posted Feb 7, 2005
haven't actualy seen it. *note to self: get videos out more* i hate all those wee things that ghost hunters say. it just sounds like a cop out. you know the "you can't see the ghosts coz yuou don't havce the righht psycic connection, but i do and they're reall so there" thing. sounds a bit fishy.

Yeah. I know. It is annoying. Think there's this superior thing that goes on.
Actually, since I've been away, kind of changed my theory a bit on the ghost thing.
I went up to Bath last weekend. We were driving down this B road, it was dark. I saw someone cross the road. I almost told my Dad to stop, but just as I was going to say something, they disappeared. My mum said there was no one there.
It might've been the light, but I swear there was someone there. It wasn't like i was expecting to see anything. When people go on these ghost walks sometimes you could say its wishful thinking. This definetly wasn't.
Thought I saw someone on the same road 2 days later, but I think that person might've actually been real- they looked different.
Anyway, it was v. weird...scared me a bit really.

That sounds kinda scary. One of those things that could just be put down to the light/darkness/rain/tiredness etc.
I don't think I've ever seen anything that could be a ghost. Though I remember being about 5 years old and looking out into our back garden and thinking there wasw a figure dressed in black standing beside one of the trees in the garden. But it was raining heavily at the time, and my imagination sometimes runs riot, so doubt it was really a ghost or anything.

Kaz Posted Feb 25, 2005
That's the trouble see, sometimes it can be the light, and I think you're right, it might've been tiredness.
It would be so much easier if someone could tell us what 'ghosts' are supposed to appear like if you do see one. I mean, would they be just shadows or actually look like real solid people?

Yeah. I found a thing somewhere on the BBc website that's a ghost cam. they had photos of the hallway of this apparently gaunted house and they said there was a ghopst on the stairs and skulls in the fireplace. But it could so easily have been shadows and light hitting shiny surfaces.
If I find the linki I'll let you know.

Well found this link:

Not sure exactly where the ghost cam's gone, but some of this stuff looks weird. Have a look at the Ram Inn photos. Weird stuff.

Found the ghostcam!

Can you see any ghosts?
Hey again!
NPY Posted Mar 4, 2005
I agree there. Think there's a link on from it where you can read what other people have thought they saw. A few said about a skull/face in the fireplace and I can see that - just a trick of the light and the soot I think though. But others said stuff about people on the stairs and at the door. Weird.

I certainly didn't see anything when I looked.
Recently got the Sixth sense on DVD and was watching the extras on it. Its got a good documentary on it about the paranormal. William Peter Blatty (the exorcist writer) was on there.
Also had the guy who wrote Ghost on there-he irritated me a bit though-bit full of his own importance. Ghost is a rubbish film anyway.

I only saw Ghost once when I was a kid. It freaked me out so I ne ver saw it since. Think it was the way the black shapes came and took the dead bad guys away. But then I was only about 7 or 8.
So is the 6th Sense any good?
Hey again!
Kaz Posted Mar 7, 2005
Yeah!
You haven't seen it?
I thought EVERYONE had seen the sixth sense!
I recommend it very much-even to someone who doesn't necessarily believe in ghosts- the characters in it are v. interesting.
Bruce Willis is in it, and Haley Joel Osment. It was directed by M. Night Shyamalan.
I think its definetly his best film. Signs comes second. I didn't like Unbreakable much, I thought it was a bit rubbish.

Kaz Posted Mar 7, 2005
btw, never saw the end of Ghost, so don't quite get what you mean about the sillouettes.
I got bored with it. once you've seen Truly Madly Deeply there's no contest.
Hey again!
NPY Posted Mar 8, 2005
I can't remember the end of Ghost. It was too long ago. Sorry.
Think I have actually seen a bit of Sixth Sense, though not much. The wee guy was in Forrest Gump? He sees dead people? Seemed good.
Hey again!
Kaz Posted Mar 8, 2005
Yep, he sees dead people.
Was he in forrest gump? I don't remember.
He's been in A. I since.
That was weird. I didn't like that film v. much.
Hey again!
NPY Posted Mar 8, 2005
Yeah, that's him. He was Forrest junior.
Never saw AI either. Wasn't sure if it would be any good. Figured that the trailers always show the best bits and they didn't quite grab me.
Hey again!
Kaz Posted Mar 8, 2005
Only seen bits of it-I guess that's maybe why I thought it was a bit strange. seemed to be almost about human cloning. i don't like stuff like that, its creepy.
I can't believe he was forrest junior. Haley Joel Osment is quite short-i remember forrest junior being quite lanky.
will check imdb..
Hey again!

He doesn't seem to have got much bigger between films, though he probably doubled in height.
