There's a great Indian restaurant that has hot chapati to go with their buffet lunch. I have to drive 15 miles to get to it, but it's worth the drive.
I don't know if Ginger was a good swimmer. I don't know if he ever fell into the water.
Maverick sounds like he was a great
I don't think I've ever used coconut milk in a recipe. I usually avoid recipes that call for ingredients I don't have and can't find substitutes for. When I make burgoo, I use blackeye peas instead of lima beans. When a recipe calls for saffron, I use turmeric and/or paprika instead.

Ok, some semblance of reasonably focussed wakefullness prevails! My concoction contained; potatoes, onions, garlic, a cayenne pepper, a whole bell pepper, a medium-sized head of brocoli (oh, & I had soaked a couple pieces of cinnamon bark in the sauce while it cooked). And yes...leftovers.

As I drive 20 miles just to go to work, I'd probably drive 15 for a great meal.
Xena doesn't so much swim as bounce off the water.
Maverick was a really cool little dog. He was grey, fluffy, about 20 inches tall, usually weighed under 25 pounds and acted as if he was a 90 pound doberman. He was half terrier and it really showed in his personality. I told my brother about the WW2 site and how we are all members of that too. He thought it was pretty cool that my account named after Maverick (U158007) was now part of the WW2 site.
That curry sounds good, Jazz. Curry for dinner tonight, I suppose.

Right hun. Actually leftovers from Fri. With alot of things, chili & curries (I know, I know a generalization or "umbrella term" - & I probably aggravate the ulcers of legitimate East Indian s everytime I use it!) being prime examples, they taste better when the flavours have really had time to mingle. On the topic of E/I restaurants, I've got one - one of my favourites actually - 5 minutes walking distance. I was near (didn't stop though) another one yesterday in the city's E/I community...that's a fair trip. One I want to try (specifically when finances are optimal), is touted as one of the best on the continent. Before the owner opened it, he spent lavishly on decorations, utensils, etc...even flew over
s from some prominent hotels in India.
Yes, Maverick sounds great..nice tribute, writing about him on the WW2 site...I'm sure he'd like that!

I know what you mean about flavors mingling... lasagna and gumbo are better on the second day also.
That sounds like an incredible restaurant.
U158007 was my account before Rupert. I got this account when they wouldn't let me back in as Maverick.

Actually, just found(thanks to Google!) a site with a few of the city's Indian restaurants. New Asian Village is the nearby one & Khazana is the fancier, more expensive one. Grrrr, was just lookin' at it...now I get "The page cannot be found"...anyway, try a broader, more general site, click on restaurants or whatever.

I hope the dental work isn't causing you discomfort. Glad the rest of your day was better.
My day was ok. Managed to catch up on those things that were sitting on my desk all weekend. Received some new merchandise, thankfully it wasn't another huge shipment.

The sound of the drill always makes me cringe... doesn't matter who is being worked on at the moment.

I haven't been eating out as much as I used to because I hit a money crunch....I've been making payments on an upcoming European trip (planned for August), and the combination of the payments and the Christmas buying season has left me kind of depleted.
The good news is that all the payments have now been made, and my bank account can start to recover.

Well, if that don't beat all...
I've seen posts disappear while other posts go both backwards and forwards in time. But, I draw the line at: Hello Evangeline/I'm not Evangeline/Greetings unknown hiker.

I know, I've had that same kind of thing...of course, substituting 'jazzedupcurry' for 'Evangeline'!
