I wouldn't be able to sleep Sunday night, if I did that. I'll probably be awake and writing at two in the morning, at this rate.

I think Alchemist wants me to write so I can get something published, get rich and then move to England, so he can stowaway in my luggage for the trip.

Let's pause for a reality check....

Seven or eight years ago, "The Writer" (a magazine for writers) published the results of a study of the country's writers. Of the 33,000 writers surveyed, only about 3,000 were able to support themselves on what they made from writing. So, you have one chance in eleven of becoming rich enough to give up your day job.

My sister is under no illusions. She still runs her store, and writes on the side. She makes very money from her stories, but at least she gets them published.

I write because it's a creative outlet. It also keeps me sane.

That doesn't stop Alchemist from wanting me to get published and become rich, win the lottery and become rich, find large sums of unclaimed money that I can keep, save up and buy a ticket to England etc. He just wants to hide in my luggage to go along for the ride.
