Baron Samedi, Lord of Zombies and Guardian of the Gate, is a good metaphor for the state some people get into on Saturday nights (drinking themselves into Zombiehood and finally being refused entry by the bouncers, ie the Guardians of the Gate).

His litle sister, La Comptesse Friday, could be the deity of harrassed office workers on a Friday afternoon fervently wishing the working week was over so they can get on with the really important partying and stuff at the weekend... maybe she'd be an ideal deity to approach for assistance with the filing cabinet problem?
