Oh, my goodness!. Just when
I was getting ready for a good long
rant about the world situation,
I find a fan club devoted to me.
Thank you, everyone! I pledge to be
as scatterbrained as usual.
(And, who knows, someday a fairy
godmother may turn me into a golden
coach--not a bad deal, when you look
at the money that some coaches make,
even if their teams lose. If this
happens to me, I shall dispense with
having a team at all .
So, let the flow, and we'll
set out the gold-rimmed dishes on the
buffet table, where Nancy the Dragon
is serving the pie, and Aunt
Matilda has set up a massive
urn (I think it makes at least 100 cups,
not that they have to be drunk today).
So, for all, and we'll see
where all this leads.

For those who would rather not have
pie, I can bring out some
gingerbread and toffee apples from the
pantry. There *may* even be some
cheesecake somewhere.

*outside*
Hey, look!
A big building with a fifty foot mural of Paul H. giving the thumbs up...
I wonder what's inside
*walks in*
A party, in honor of...
*reads the big sign that says, "Happy fan club, Paul! We love you, old sport!"*
~not exactly sure what to make of this, he congratulates Paul on being himself and puts on one of those pins offered by the front door saying, "Pumpkin pie. That's right dammit, I'm a fan of Paul's"~
*and begins to party*

(The flashing music gets 'em every time )
Has everyone left? A pity!
Aunt Matilda made 100 cups of coffee, and there
are still 90 left. Hmmmm, we don't want them
to go to waste.....I could drink maybe four,
but that still leaves 86. I guess I'll need
special help.
VOLTAIRE: Hi, Paul, long time no see. I see you've
just been enjoying a party. What on earth
led you to serve THAT wine. I would never give that
to a dog!
PAUL: This is an English website, Voltaire. As you
know, England is too cold to grow decent grapes for
wine. Also, I had to serve the house wine here. Anyway,
I didn't call you for advice on wine. I have 86
cups of coffee that are going to waste. They're
still nice and hot, but they won't stay drinkable
forever.
VOLTAIRE:
What gave you the idea that I like coffee?
PAUL: Oh, several historians. I was told that you
drank 86 cups of coffee every day....
VOLTAIRE: Well, it is good
coffee, I'll admit....
PAUL: Be truthful, Voltaire. How long has it been
since the last time you had coffee?
VOLTAIRE: 215 years, give or take a decade.
PAUL: Aha! Then you have a lot of coffee-drinking
to do if you want to make up for lost time!
