We'll see if that Boogeyzac pill works.
If it does, he'll be happy again in no
time. A happy Boogeyman is a scary Boogeyman.
We'll just help him retool for scaring a
different clientel, that's all.

*sigh*
Things are not working out the way
I had hoped, Dragonfly. Giving you
the shakes was not what I intended.
Brood, brood, brood.....

It's time to get this fan club jump-started
again! Too many days have gone by without
any visitors except Dragonfly. I wonder
what's wrong with the way this place is
being run?
There doesn't seem to be any lack of food
and drink here. The accommodations are
about on par with those at the other researchers'
fan clubs. Oh, I can bring in some sofas uphol-
stered with gold brocade to brighten up the
ambience. A fountain with singing nymphs can
be installed over there, with a pool full of
large frisky goldfish circling it. Put in a row of
weeping willows along the river, a gorgeous
purple mountain in the background, and a
marching band playing "America the Beautiful"
in the park across the river.
How's that working so far? If all else fails, I can
fall back on what worked for Uncle Chester.
I learned everything I need to know about humor
from Uncle Chester, bless his soul. Come on, people,
start posting messages here, or I'm going to tell
the infamous "Chester" knock-knock jokes. To give
you a sample of what lies in store, here's the first one:
"Chester" Knock-Knock Joke # 1
Knock knock!
Who's there?
Chester
Chester who?
Chester song at twilight....
(If you've already heard this one,
Dragonfly, rest assured that there
are new ones on their way....)

Herrrmmm.... The way I see it, your fan club is still fairly young, is it not!??? Not everyone can afford the luxury of spending as much time as I do on h2g2...
Maybe you should advertise your fan club at the end of your nickname!??

There's also a page on h2g2 that features the Fan Clubs here. I don't have a link, but Ottox is the Keeper of Links, so he can probably help you... if you get on that page, you might obtain more traffic...

Been there, done that, though Phreako
is listed as the gatekeeper. Thanks
for the tip, Dragonfly.
I am starting to feel guilty about
having my marching band play
"America the Beautiful," because some
researchers might prefer other songs,
like
Don't fence me in
Louie, Louie
God save the Queen
I'm 'enry the 8th, I am
Beethoven's 9th

I wasn't going to mention a word about your choice of music...
Does the marching band have a color guard!??

YAY!!! Copacabana!
Did you miss me?
Honestly I'm a bit scared of your long posts Paul!
More scared of them than of the Boogeyman...

Yayye, Ottox!
Welcome back!
Enjoy the fountain and the marching band
(which has a color guard).
The scariest thing about my long posts
is the way the spelling degenrates.
also words left out.
(I'll tgry to do better )
