But I didn't drown them! They committed suicide by jumping in Mom's pool!
And besides, they're 2-1/2 hours from here!

Oh. Sorry, I thought they were in your
backyard. Well, yeah, dead toads can't
catch many mosquitos.....
My excuse tonight is that the heat has
fried my brain.

Well, it isn't too bad here... but we're doing home made pizza with TJ's premade pizza dough. I'm trusting my dad to not put anything too weird on it. Hopefully it'll be okay, however, I probably should go supervise.
I'll probably be able to kinda see some distant fireworks from my house tonight, the SF bay area is crawling with fireworks displays. I'll probably be able to catch some tomorrow night also, since the Oakland A's are doing a fireworks show, and I'll be at my grandparents' for a BBQ/birthday party for my grandfather... and they live in the Oakland hills.
At least I'm free of Radio Scrap for now, I got to split at 6.

*shrugs* Oh well, they're pretty, but I'll live if I don't see 'em occasionally.

we got lucky. The whole city here was skipping fireworks this year, except the country club where my hunny works. He sneaked us in. We had front row center.
then I got to zap around the golf course in the dark.
unfortunately, it didn't go too fast.
I didn't nail a single person.

Maybe it was cold enough to justify more than one?

Not likely, not this time of year, not in the part of the US where she lives...
