, my friends and I had a discussion on how best to get people's attention. We decided that, aside from nudity, the best way is to say a one-syllable word really loudly that sounds like a word, but doesn't really make any sense.
Hence, WOOT!
Or some other choice non-words... PUM!, DIB!, or BOK!
I may want to add a disclaimer that quite a bit of alcohol was involved in this conversation.
