Hi Catwoman!
Catwoman Posted Dec 5, 2002
I have had a supervision today and have another at 615, so don't talk to me about being finished.

Dr Nick Posted Dec 5, 2002
2 hour anatomy thing tomorrow. You're not the only one who's working past the end of term
Hi Catwoman!
Catwoman Posted Dec 6, 2002
Yeah, but medics should expect it, in preparation for the 72 hour weeks.
Hi Catwoman!
Dr Nick Posted Dec 6, 2002
Ugh. don't remind me. The thought of spending two days working without a break makes me want to change to SPS
Hi Catwoman!
Dr Nick Posted Dec 8, 2002
I spend most of my time dreaming about what it would be like to be an english student. All they do is lie around and read. I'm very jealous!
Hi Catwoman!
Catwoman Posted Dec 9, 2002
yeah. I have work to do even though is first weekday of holiday (because getting a proper paid job next week)
Hi Catwoman!
Dr Nick Posted Dec 10, 2002
Just think about the money you'll earn - it'll get you through next term.
Hi Catwoman!
Catwoman Posted Dec 10, 2002
But I might not make it through next term due to not having done the work I'm supposed to have done.
Hi Catwoman!
Dr Nick Posted Dec 13, 2002
Wouldn't be so sure of that. You haven't seen how much I've got to read these hols!
Hi Catwoman!
Catwoman Posted Dec 13, 2002
Reading? Easy. I have essays, questions, and am required to read and UNDERSTAND everything we've been told this term.

that is always the cambridge way though. the terms are so short and intense that we need the long holidays to make sense of all the stuff we've been told.
btw dr nick, do you have mocks when you come back after xmas, like we caian medics do?
Hi Catwoman!
Dr Nick Posted Dec 14, 2002
Unfortunately yes. Mocks are bad. It's just cruel that they're going to make us do them before term starts! I agree with you about the Cambridge way - you finally stop, come home and collapse then start thinking to yourself "what am I meant to know?"! Did you go along to that special anatomy session on the last friday? The lecture guy was crazy but very funny...
Hi Catwoman!
Catwoman Posted Dec 17, 2002
I don't know whether to feel soryy for you having mocks. It's too soon for themn, but better than not at all (a la us NatScis), since we dpn't know how well/badly we're doing.
Hi Catwoman!
Dr Nick Posted Dec 21, 2002
Not that I like tham, but they have forced me to actually learn the biochem I should have learnt this term. Now all I have to do is remember it until next term!
Hi Catwoman!
Catwoman Posted Dec 22, 2002
Yeah, and good luck with thhat.
The biochem is the hardest bit of my course, I think.
