Good for you Jordan, half the fun of h2g2 is that you can talk to complete strangers.
Plus if you don't ask for something you never know if you would have got it 
Oh and a word of warning, it's traditional to protect your email against spam bots or spiders as they are sometimes called. You can do this by writing _AT_ in place of @ and _DOT_ in place of .

I think Jordan wants one still, maybe we should keep some kind of tally, with people posting when they have invites, how many are left and who from the thread they have invited.

That's very generous of you Gosho
The h2g2 folk who've recieved an invite from me are: your good self, EG Mel, Rho, Bottletop and Lighthousegirl (who e-mailed me direct). The other invites have gone to non-h2g2 folk, including members of my family.
As far as I can see, it is only Jordan who's asked in this thread who has missed out on an invite from me.

Mel, it's ironic that I'm doing computer science and I don't know these things! I only caught on to the idea of putting in a 'NOSPAM' bit on my email address last year - which was, of course, too late, and now my departmental email is flooded with spam daily. And not just the ordinary stuff about gross bodily deformation; rather, the weird purported 'MS Windows Updates' with 100K+ attachments!

Never mind, you can use your GMail one now, though be warned the spam proofness is not perfect so try to treat it with TLC.
Oh and if there's a spare going can you send one to my friend Adam -> asumun_AT_hotmail_DOT_com and tell him I was kind enough to pass on his details and it's on the condition that he must never say MINK at me again!
