In the same corner, but round the corner from the Tourist Office. If that makes sense. If I'm clever (NEVER!) I'll bung my T-Shirt in the window so you can find us.

I'll find it. I'll probably 'under sleep' this time too, as I did with the Edinburgh meet-up, and arrive an hour and a half early.
And as long as Lyns is there, I've got her phone number, and if she's not there, I think I've got FC's number somewhere in a dark corner of my mobile phone SIM card. 'Twon't be a problem. I'll find ye.

Drove past it (TCH) today. Nice map, Wumbeevil. I see Munchkin has been to see you. 30 minutes it took me to get along St. Vincent Street. Twice i've been in glasgow in the last 3 days, and they still haven't got what I need for that vital last minute present.
Last ditch attempt in Edinburgh tomorrow, and if that fails, I might as well not go home!
"Hei, ma, ony chanceo a place tae stae fer a coupleo days?"
"Naw, sorry son, am awae doon tae London fer christmas"
"A**e!"

I had much the same shopping experience, but that may have been partly down to overdoing my 'research'. Worst thing was it was only crap stocking-fillers that I was looking for, and I couldn't find any. I'm going back for that horseshit in Buchanan street if I can't find any junk to annoy the relatives with.
Well, enjoy your swim in Hyde Park!

I haven't even started looking for pressies this year. I know I need to find something for my flat mate, cause he gave me a birthday present the other week, but other than that, I don't know what to buy to who.
I didn't send any presents or anything back home to my siblings or parents this year. I just couldn't be bothered.
I'll go have a look at the map. Thanks..

*passes a present over to EV which looks suspiciously like a crate of beer, along with another that rattles like a tube of Pringles*
Might as well make you feel at home EV, if your going to be here for a while I'll be my usual sporadic on and off over the next week.
Have a good one everybody.

Excellent piece of mappery, Wumbeevil. Although I can't help wondering what the good people of Glasgow were saying about you while you were photographing the horse-s**t. But I'm glad you found the time to do the vital reconnaisance trip to the pub. Now at least we'll all know what a pub looks like when we get there.
I'll be offline by the end of today until 3rd Jan, but will be on the 1130 train out of Edinburgh with Lyns on the 6th, so have a good Christmas, everyone, and see you then.
And EV - get a life!

Crap! If you've got the socks, EV, who got the Pringles?
Have a good christmas SPINY and I'll catch up with you after the 3rd

What?
Nah, mate - mine are Golden Wonder.
*surreptitiously kicks wrapping paper behind him*
Awright, Babel, and season's best wishes also with you. (Have you tried Victoria Street for that elusive present? lots of quaint shops, never too busy - AND you can take a load off in the Bow Bar when you're done!)

Lost in Scotland Posted Dec 22, 2000
I'll try.
Damn, I didn't get away from here. I'll be around here until about 3:40 and then I'm definitely going home!
EV, you got any X-mas plans at all, or are you just going to hang about in here all Christmas?
