Er, you wouldn't happen to have mine there too would you, EV?
Failing that, a loan of your brown paper bag would be fine.
I'm just off to go and hide for a while.....
Thanks everyone!
Dr E Vibenstein (You know it is, it really is.) Posted Jan 10, 2001
You can't have the brown paper bag, what am I going to hide in?
Thanks everyone!

May I recommend a hat. Not one soul (admits that they) recognises me when I'm wearing it. Or perhaps gratuitous sideburns? All going cheap at the Munchkinstein State Costume Shop as part of our January Sale.
Thanks everyone!
Dr E Vibenstein (You know it is, it really is.) Posted Jan 10, 2001
Hmmmm. How much do you want for the hat?
Thanks everyone!
Babel17 Posted Jan 10, 2001
Damn, I hate simulposts.
*comes the muffled voice from under the bucket*
Thanks for the offer Munchkin, but this will be fine for now.
Anyway, If those are the good ones, I better go arrange a loan prior to the auction for the other ones.
*not that you can see me winking due to this bucket*
Thanks everyone!
Munchkin Posted Jan 10, 2001
Well EV I could probably do you a good deal on one of my old hats. I reckon you would suit my Equadorian Lama Herders Hat. It is yours for the princely sum of two pints, to be collected in February (if I haven't double booked myself). I am in danger of either double booking then, or ending up in Edinburgh two weeks on the trot, which certainly is bad for the bank balance, oh and the liver. Must check my social calender.
Actually, the majority of the left out photos are dull and mostly consist of the back of peoples heads.
P.S. Just got an error, this could be a double post
P.P.S. And again, one more try, then I give up. Sheesh
Thanks everyone!
SPINY (aka Ship's Cook) Posted Jan 10, 2001
Well done, Munchkin, great photos. I'm well impressed by the quality of that machine - what did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking?
Dignity, eh? They assured me that it would come with my white hair, but these days I find it goes with the arrival of my second Guinness.
BTW a big thanks to Babel for going to the bar the whole time. You can't beat having drink constantly placed in front of you without having to get off your fat arse except to pee. I'll try not to be so lazy in future.
Thanks everyone!
Munchkin Posted Jan 10, 2001
Well, I saw "the machine" in the Dixons sale in town here for five hundred of our English Pounds. I will leave you to translate that into Royal Bank notes.
Can I assume that the two wee movies are working then. They don't on my machine (when viewed on the web) but I was assuming that was a personal problem, a bit like the sidies rightly
Thanks everyone!
SPINY (aka Ship's Cook) Posted Jan 10, 2001
Oh, and I'm reminded of a great slogan on a T-shirt I nearly bought: "The liver is evil and must be punished." Could be our motto.
Thanks everyone!
SPINY (aka Ship's Cook) Posted Jan 10, 2001
Actually the movies didn't run on mine either, but I think this thing's running on a model T engine rather than a Pentium.
Thanks everyone!
Jamie Posted Jan 10, 2001
The movies run on my machine OK, although you can't see much. Maybe just as well...
Thanks everyone!
Babel17 Posted Jan 10, 2001
*throws bucket off head*
Aw who cares what people think. I had fun damn it
The movies worked fine at work (I'm at home now) though they were very dark,so I will try them there (here even )
Back in a mo....
Thanks everyone!
Munchkin Posted Jan 10, 2001
They are a bit dark, no continuous light from the camera, so some effort may be required to lighten then. Also, very grainy which is annoying.
Thanks everyone!
Babel17 Posted Jan 10, 2001
Ok, they are better on this machine than at work, but still much the same. Still a good laugh though, especially with sound (none at work )
Thanks everyone!
Wumbeevil Posted Jan 11, 2001
Hey, nice work, Jack "The Hat" McMunchkin. Do you specialise in blackmail type pics? The movies are running fine, but there's something not quite right about the titles of the latter pics.
Err, you don't happen to have a spare ski helmet available do you? I'm willing to trade a masive collection of "Back of the head" shots, as recommended by Lice Nurses everywhere, in exchange.
Thanks everyone!
Lost in Scotland Posted Jan 11, 2001
What's this I hear about lost dignity? Dignity is overrated! Hiding because of a few pictures online? Hehe.. Naaahhhh..
A hat would be cool, though. I think I'll go have a look at the Munchkin sale of hats.
Lyns, the picture of the candle should have been even artier if the flash hadn't gone off. A single candle flame in the great darkness. Now that is art.
I had no problem running the movies here at work. Haven't tried at home yet, as I don't have a computer at home.
"Went to the pub and was this postcard"
Thanks everyone!
Munchkin Posted Jan 11, 2001
There was a photo of the candle in the dark. Unfortunately the reflection from Babel's glasses was somewhat distracting
