I didn't do it

It was Shea providing a machine translation (from Dutch!) of my (Danish) facebook post. Quite precise actually. I'd have thought my link would have been a worse offence, but after having been pondering why Shea's post (in English) was removed, I've realised that she was impersonating both Pierce and me. Of course!

I would love to see it. Somebody please mail it to me?

I think the problem was that the English translation was of the Dutch, but the German didn't translate! I'll try to translate it again, and leave out the German.

Right. It's the middle of November already and I've yet to see a single snowflake

This time last year, we were exactly one week away from being snowed in...could we have a little, but not that much?

Hmmm... I love snow, but now I'm living in the middle of nowhere I'm not sure I want all the ice we've had here the past couple of years. I was lucky not to break a few bones making my way along the lanes last winter.

Last year was horrendous. But given it's so mild right now, I have to admit I'm getting a little impatient for real, proper cold and a sprinkling of snow.

Though I agree with you, no ice. I slipped on the steps in the garden last year, while trying to fill up the bird feeders, and threw my back out. At least falling in snow isn't quite as painful!

We actually had a few lake-effect snowflakes here at w*rk yesterday afternoon. Just a few. And TJ said there were none at home, so it was very localized.

The weatherman uttered that magic word in the forecast last night.... SNOW!!

Granted, it's only a chance, and not til Sunday evening...

It's going to be over the highlands this week, but luckily not coming down as far as me...or at least I hope if it does, only a little. too many things going on to be snowed in again!
