Have you slogged your way through the backlog on 3N yet? I'm afraid it's been a little crazy over there...

'Tis a far, far better Thing than Thday!
*hopes Farlander remembers never to mention Thday again, only referring to the days of the week as Sodit, Wimpy, Wibble, Thing, Poets, Doobry and Dontbry*

There was talk of renaming the months... back in the day before my first leave of hootoo. I don't know if many here remember it...

It was way way back in the day, when I had been coming here for a few months... before No No No was even in the 10,000s...

*shakes off fragments of disk and fallen shards of backlog*
Well, that was unpleasant.
Oh, I remember that discussion. I happened to be reading through some of the earlier backlog a week or two ago and saw those particular posts. Haven't been around here long enough to have actually witnessed it in the making, though.

my apologies to lady scott for having said the th word. of course i was trying to make a point that the reason why people were so miserable was because the names of the days of the week were so... *dull* and lacking in personality... sort of adds on to their feeling of desperation and unhappiness. now, if the days of the week were renamed, at least people would get a kick out of saying them, like 'oh i've got a meeting on bly sodit'. it would colour their lives, methinks.
what's this about renaming the months, and have they proposed new names, or do we get to spin them?
I am here to change the subject line. Just try and stop me.

There was talk of changing the years to
2000-->0
1999-->1 BT
2001-->Year of our Warlord 1

Don't apologise to me for useing the Thday word, Farlander!
The Warlord would be very upset though, and you have to realize that even saying the word does not promote the cause of Thingism
