Okay, so MicroHard's WYSIWYG interface doesn't translate well into H2G2 thread code... The weird codes should have been "long A" characters...

Ah... I find that I can put things in from the character map, but unless a person has the character map enabled for all languages in their computer, it may not show up properly for them.
