Good heavens, a fan club! You don't see many of these nowadays, do you? And it's for Oojakagosh Calcutta (Failed) - how nice.

I reckon it's time for a fan club revival

Parrfers, have you been out celebrating the armistice again? Had a sniff or two of the barmaid's apron have we? Been at the cooking sherry? Blown the froth off a couple? Been bending the elbow? Been in the company of John Barleycorn? Had a tincture or two? Does your cup runneth over? Been whacked over the head with Samson's jawbone?

Hi ho Goshokid rides again!!! YAY

Mrs. Wembley was the ever-so-slightly tipsy housekeeper played by Joan Sims in a sitcom which also starred Dennis Waterman and Sam Kelly. She was always helping herself to 'just the one' sweet sherry. It was such a good series that I can't even remember the title, but the catchphrase caught on quite widely at the time.

Aha! It was called 'On The Up'.

Oh, I don't know about that. Contemplating work brings usually forth a slew of imaginary horrors all of its own.

You are right - it did! Still I did actually get some done in the end. Then I did some work for a committee I am on and then wrote a blog for the next show I am producing and now I need to make some calls so I am again finding something else to do ...
