See - well, 1 hour is reasonably soon.
Not much news this end. Weather wasn't good enough to get much done on the car; shopping was bedlam but I got everyone except my two mothers sorted out and cooked a top class grilled trout dish..mmm

Bought the SO a "Friends of the Abbey" membership for Christmas, and the cover letter said "Welcome, Patron of the Arts" or words to that effect. It tickled me intensely.
Major news: By reference to my User Journal I find that I have given up smoking exactly a year today. Any idea how to celebrate this?
