Oh God,you need days like that like you need a hole in the head Ham.Good job your were able to sort that poor lad out though,stressful for you I understand ,but at the end of the day Ham,in a way,it's just good your there, still being able to help these needy people.I know none of us are indispensable,someone else would have done the job had you not been there,everythings for a reason OK ? No one could have coped quite like you did Ham ! Thats my theory and I'm sticking to it...days like that are good to remember for the future ! WHEN you DO eventually,retire (if ever) when your fed up,depressed and bored,that day should stick in your mind OK ? Busy,rushed,stressed out,working until late,was it all worth it ? Well,yes it was,but isn't great feeling this bored with nothing at all to do in the world but write to that crazy woman from Sunderland !! So the Bulgaria dream lives on eh? I've not had time to get near my computer, my grat-neice is stopping and she's using this bedroom that I'm in now, which doubles as my computer room, so it reduces my access time terribly, being a lethargic 14 year old she spends half her life asleep and the rest mooning around, and it restricts my on-line time considerably! Still got my ma in law, she goes back tomorrow, but my neice is stopping on for the rest of the week, I'm going to remame my place Hotel Geordioso. Actually I'm just winding down after last week at work, I'm not complaining but I remembered why I packed in, it's nice knowing I don't have to do it. Actually the seaside trip was exhausting too, 190 miles I clocked, but there was just me and two clients, very relaxed, lunch, a stroll on the prom and got back about 6 o clock, funny cos there was mayhem all over the South on the roads but we just about got away with it. They're all out at the moment, which is very pleasant actually. The Middlesborough - Newcastle game is on at 1:30, so I won't ramble too long, so there's no meat draw for me today as they don't have Setanta up at the club, and to be honest I much prefer watching the Toon at home. I can suffer in silence then! Anyways I'm off tomorrow. See you soon, your pal Ham.

Hi Ham,thankyou for your msg (Even if you DID mention football !! I'm into supporting archery this week ! I rest my case ! hahaha) Well,I went to the Lake District.Weather was perfect,I packed a picnic (more like a banquet,but who cares ? hahahaha)Took my sister and her son our Glenn. Drove up there,a little place called Troutbeck,near Windermere...Ham,it was like I'd died and gone to heaven ,honestly...Perfect....now you can't get any better than perfect right ? If I began to describe every detail to you,you'd be here until 2010,or there abouts hahahhaha So I'll just say,if ever you get the chance,grab it,with both hands...and go. I feel refreshed,alive again and prepared to battle onward hahahahhaha They can keep Bulgaria this week,for now anyway ! So,you also run Hotel Welcome Everyone eh ? They're all away taking my ma-in-law to the airport, Bank Hol and not much to do really, I might persuade my great neice out for a bike-ride later, she's impossibly lovely but not the most active, been getting in a bit of bother at school, she's awaiting a private tutor, the story goes that she's been bullied but I reckon there's a bit of two-way traffic, but she's no bother at all when she's with us. It's devastating cos she was only 11 when her mum died and she's the younger of the two sisters. The big one has adjusted beautifully but the young 'un is a troubled lass and we love her dearly. Anyway, I suppose you're back to the grindstone now, but have a great Bank Holiday, your pal, Ham.

I'm back in Bucks again today, really busy day lined up, it's my last day in before my holidays, in Bucks anyway, and I could really have done with a quiet one but it's not to be, two pieces of work at opposite ends of the county, I'll be late by the time I've done my reporting etc, anyways, enough of my moaning, it's a lovely day outside, into the fray I go, my great neice and her mate, (who came up from Aldershot yesterday) are here, but will be in bed all morning, we've moved them into the big spare bedroom now my Ma in law has gone. I love to hear them talk, it's an education for me, I thought it only happened on telly, they're glued to Big Brother every night, I had to watch the football on the upstairs telly last night. Did you have a lie-in this morning then? I just missed you and it's 9:30. Got our place back to ourselves at last, Great neices dad came to get her last night, bringing her big sister, they're adorable girls and it's great that we see so much of them, mainly cos they're in the South, Dad's in the army and stationed at Chelsea, but we loved their mum so it's a real privelige for us to be involved in some small way in their upbringing. Well, though the Bunkfest isn't happening a lot of the acts are coming anyway which is great, and playing in a money-raising event for next year, there's music all day Saturday, I'm going to do a bit at the Coach and Horses tonight, and the wonderful 'Singing Train' tomorrow, it's quite mad, you just get on a train have a beer and play a few songs, down to Cholsey then back again! There's loads of opportunities to play tomorrow too, so I'm looking forward to the weekend. No need to worry about writing regularly, I know what it's like, but it's always a pleasure to hear from you, gives the hear a little flutter! Your pal, Ham.

I hope you do it nice and tidy, I'm trying to avoid saying you're no slapper but there it, is I'm sure I suffer from some form of Tourettes syndrome, you do a lot of decorating don't you? I seem to recall a similar conversation, I'm pretty rubbish to be honest, especially painting, oh coving, I'm really good at coving, my internal corners are a sight to behold!
