Yes I did, and it kept me going for somewhat longer than I wanted. Well, no harm done.
I'm off to do some more

It's amazing to think that each of those blurs is a galaxy of maybe a billion stars, and each has its own Luke Skywalkers, Galaxy Babes and Gautama Buddhas.

But gazillions of galaxies ..... I must have done over 1,000
Isn't it surprising how many elliptical galaxies there are ... and how many merging.

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Jul 14, 2007
It's the merging ones that get to me, the slow dance of death, like two behemoths destined to tear each other apart. Eventually our Milky Way will merge with Andromeda but that's nothing we have to worry about just yet.
Have you found anything worth reporting to the team, Fizzy
?

Global warming, Galaxy Collisions, and now a mass merging of Hootoo Researchers in Hull...
One disaster after another!

Two galaxies can actually collide, then pass through each other and out the other side!

Fizzymouse- no place like home Posted Jul 14, 2007
I've emailed a few things, but the most beautiful and curious wa what should have been a spiral galaxy I think - but it was a perfect circle ..... like a string of pearls enclosing a milky blue soup ..... really beautiful - but I haven't had a reply to my email yet.

Give the team time - they've been inundated.
Look what I've found while I was away, they wrote, typical
<<Ann,
I'm not sure what this is, but it looks like they might be merging galaxies. I'll mark them for further review. Great find!
Thanks for helping us look through all these galaxies!
Cheers,
Jordan (for the Galaxy Zoo team)

How very friendly
I've only had one reply and that was just to say that what I'd sent was an elliptical with a bright star nearby.
I've not seen anything like that perfectly circular galaxy since - I'm really intrigued - have you seen anything like that.
