Checking in.. Totally and utterly uneventful weekend. Except for friday night which was pretty much fun.
Still here, though.

The only eventful thing here is the damned weather...
I have roof tiles off & a fence blown down...good job I'm insured.

I have to say that we didn't have very bad weather up here in Scotland this weekend.. Oh, alright, so we had a bit of a drizzle that somehow snuck into the apartment around the window frame, but nothing more than that. Then again.. Drizzle is a question of definitions. Some might say that it was pouring down.
Nevertheless.. Karaoke night could have been better.. I could have won a bottle of tequila... But I didn't... They made me sing Flower of Scotland, even though I had signed up for Hotel California. Now, how nice is that, then?? The end result was that an English colleague said he'd kick my butt, while all the Scots cheered me on.

Morning all,
Shellers checking in. If half the women knew how long it was I'm sure I wouldn't be in here

That's a very loaded statement for so early in the morning, Shellers...let me wake up properly & I'll search for the double-meaning

Morning GB,
Sorry - I just wrote the first thing to come into my head and aren't fully awake yet myself. I was in a chat room until 2:30 this morning and then up for work at 6:30!

Morning, people..
Sultan, you are one lucky dude. Have fun on your vacation.
GB, I didn't know that singing was a good thing. Especielly when someone threatens you after you're done..
I cook too, but that still hasn't helped me...
Shellers, what were you thinking when you wrote that post earlier this morning??

Two weeks ago today...
LiS, singing is a very good thing. I got let out of a locked building once when I threatened to do so.

I don't know about ironing, but I can do Irony. Does that count?
Still nada on the horizontal lambada scale, BTW.

Shellers (Master of wit and ready repartee) Posted Nov 1, 2000
Erm, could you run that by me in English?
Lambada - wasn't that a motor scooter? Why do you want to weigh a horizontal scooter?
Key: Complain about this post
