Can I just say that I have remembered all about being hypnotherapically (is that a word?) regressed a few years back and I turned out to be a monk in medieval Italy.

So I wasn't getting it in the last life either!

Actually Nexus I agree with you, I can never work out whether I am interested in monks because of a past life or I invented a past life because I am interested in monks (read name of the rose etc etc)

What it does not explain is the funny turn I had in Kenilworth Abbey and the fact that despite never having been there before I knew the entire groundplan of the site..... spooky huh?

Ooops, sorry; a little wrong end of the stick grabbing here, methinks. I meant that about you not getting any; ie. monks having rather a bad rep on the whole pervy thing, hence de Sade etc and Name o/t Rose, in which Christian Slater gets his end away.

To answer your question, Archangel Babe, I cannot attend the gathering in London due to a prior engagement. My mother apparently decided to turn half a century old around that date, so I will be in Sweden at the time..

As for monks, well, I don't have much to add to what's already been said. Only that in Sweden, monks are called "munkar" and donuts/doughnuts are called "munkar" as well. Oh, and hasbrowns are called "raggmunkar" which could be translated into "Rag-monks". Some pieces of totally useless information, that's all.. Pay no attention to it.

I have to say that I would have liked to have come to the meet in London. I think because of two reasons:
1. Meet other H2G2 Researchers and havea good time there.
2. I've never been to London, so it'd be cool to go there to see some of it.
But I guess I'll have to wait til next time...
