18 at a party at uni. The girl was 21 and I still speak with her as a friend from time to time. Didn't realise she fancied me at the time, by the end of the evening I certainly did
One of my very good friends (now a brother in law) has made the comment to me about going out with my sister being a bad thing in some respects. It cuts down the number of conversations we could have down the pub...

Nexus - If you were crap in bed, your lady wouldn't have had a good time!

My brother and I are very close. He wasn't mad about me having sex he was mad about his friend being the one I was having it with. We eventually talked about it and came to an arrangement. We are very close in age (2years) and have most of the same friends, we can sleep with who we want but we do not talk about who it is/was, and our friends are not allowed to tell about it either. It sometimes works.

Except this is the virginity thread, Phil - Would you like to go somewhere more private?
*cries of "No! No!"
hehehehe
I was kidding, shall I start another thread, just for ordinary sexual discussion? Rather than a specific topic?
Gee, I hope no-one starts calling me Dr. Ruth....

I can't imagine Phil at a loss for words anyway, not even with his brother-in-law.

It's not so much a loss for words, more one of those awkward topics of conversation that one tends to avoid.

I must be the only one with a brother that encourages me in my sexual activiites. We tend to encourage each other.
And I hope that my son will be close enough to me to talk about anything when he gets older.

We also talk about our sexual experiences as well, I hope that doesn't sound bad....

Ok, now feeling very young and innocent
OK then, I have a question- is the first time always and without question absolutely crap? Because that's an incredibly depressing concept

Your first time is usually crap (not always), because your not really sure of what your doing and your nervous as hell. Also for women, and everyone is differant, it can be from very painful to uncomfortable. According some of my guy friends, they don't last very long because its thier first time, you get more stamina with practice.
I have only known men to have orgasms the first time and they are not always very good ones. You should be very scared or nervous about losing your viginity.

No! my first time was not crap!!
It was nice. I remember having two thoughts at the time, the first was,
"if it doesn't stop hurting in a minute I am going to say ouch" and it stopped. It didn't hurt for long, about 10 seconds. After that I enjoyed it.
The second thing after was "for the first time in my life I am glad to be female"
If you want it, are ready, and maybe slightly tipsy to relax you, you should enjoy it! (I was a bit older than you though.)
It did hurt a bit the next day, especially when I sneezed, so be prepared for that. But it was nice to be hurt, because of what had made the pain.

as I said usually (not always) there are always exceptions to the rule.

I'm sorry- I *should* be *very* scared of losing my virginity?
Wow, that's really encouraging
Fortunately, unless it's a typo, I'll be taking the remark with a pinch of salt...
