Not come across that one... but then I don't use audio programs much...
I ~think~ I've got CreativeSound'LE... if not then I've seen it somewhere. But I've found that already. *grin* Something that obvious doesn't stay hidden for long! Andyhow, WaveStudio makes it sound better on my machine at least than any of the other programs I've got.
*grin* Why thank you!

Yep.
Well... I wouldn't say that. You, no doubt, would seeing as you just did. I think we disagree on the matter. Maybe we ought to get an unbiased outsider to listen?
Or - and this is a better idea - agree to disagree?

The latter idea would work, I think. I mean, would we really want to terrify someone else with our singing?
Or in my case, garbling...
...
Sorry, did I just invent that word?
Morning!
Ming Mang Posted May 9, 2001
I don't think you did, I've heard it before... in fact *has grabbed a dictionary* it is a proper word.
garble:- select best in, take pick of, (rare); make (usu. unfair or malicious) selections from (facts, statements, etc.), mutilate in order to misrepresent; (erron.) unintentionally distort or confuse (facts, statements).
So there you go! Learn something new every day!

*Jumps in surprise.*
Gah! OK, that wasn't what I meant I sounded like. I thought I crossed 'gurgle' with 'garbage'.

Yes, well, you know, I try.
BTW, do you know the tune 'Popcorn' by Hot Butter? It's quite famous, and there are simply /loads/ of MIDI and MOD files for it, but I just can't find the original!
Do you know where it could be?

Oh, and I had my first exam today - Information Studies.
It was really easy! We had to do three things:
1) Copy the layout of a leaflet in Publisher,
2) Create a database and filter it, and
3) Draw a map in Word! As someone mentioned yesterday in the Atlier, we'll be writing memos in Paint next.

Nope, don't know it. But then I can never connect titles with songs or artistes or anything... you could try searching for it...
What?!? That's easy!!! I hope all my exams will be that easy... bet they won't be though...

Oh, it ~is~ my motto!! OK, it may be yours as well, but that is the exact wording of mine!

A sad day for us all...but he will never be forgotten.
Your last day in compulsory education?? How?? The exams don't start for another two or three weeks, and half-term is still two weeks away!
It is your motto, eh? Well, I suppose anything's possible, even having the same motto.

Oh, and I've made a song today. It's all about my English teacher/Yearhead, and points out his rather stranger characteristics.
I'll e-mail you the URL, as it would be taken down as soon as h2g2 find it on my Links Page - it's quite a rude song, by my standards. Be warned!

Ming Mang Posted May 12, 2001
Yes, a sad day for everyone here at least. *sniff*
Yep, having the same motto is not impossible! I guess it shows that we have a similar, um, way of thinking maybe? Or something like that anyway. Scary!
Cool! I look forward to it!!

Oh- last day in compulsory education because study leave apparantly started early for us this year.

*Envy.*
Ooh, we don't get study leave this year. I can't remember the reason, but we can only get time off school if
a) we have an exam in the afternoon, or
b) we have already finished all the exams in a subject, in which case we can miss the lesson in question.
You get more study leave...that's just cheeky!
