Yes it did!!!
*raises eyebrow*
OK, I will!...
You know, it's rising higher on my list of priorities... admittedly there aren't many others...

*Raises eyebrow in return.*
Don't worry, it was just a joke. I'm like that.
Well, you're an ACE aren't you? So I guess you have a lot of conversational commitments.
Morning!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 5, 2001
*grin* I know it was! And I took it seriously, which is my idea of a joke back...! Which is just me...
Yeah, but not so much as you might think. A lot of newbies don't come back. Even when they do, some don't reply to you... mind you, lately the amount of newbies replying to me has gone up. Which is quite nice, as it can be depressing doing all that work for nothing...
Ack! WHY can't Systems papers examine on Systems?? They are ALWAYS Resistant Materials!!

Well, yesterday's Bio paper had the be the easiest science exam I've ever had (and please note that I'm not good at Bio at all), but today's Maths non-calc paper was /evil/!!
Try to make 'a' the subject of the equation a - c = ac.
And how about a bit of y= 1/2x^3 + 4, anyone? *Hates his Maths teacher, and is going to have to make an evil song about /her/ too!*
Still, the calculator paper should be easier.
Morning!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 6, 2001
Good. My science paper wasn't that bad either.
My non-calc maths paper wasn't that nice... what exam board do you have?
*grin* Let me know when you have!!
Good luck for the calc paper then.

Chris Tonks Posted Jun 6, 2001
And the same to you.
My exam board for Maths is AQA/AEB (aka SEG), and the same for Science. They seem to vary between the rediculously easy to the ludicrously hard.
Morning!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 6, 2001
Thank you!
Not the same then - I've got MEG or OCR, whichever.
I've got SEG for Drama, and it's actually quite a nice exam.

Chris Tonks Posted Jun 6, 2001
I've got OCR for Business Studies, but no MEG for anything. I used to do MEG practice papers in lessons (only four lessons left, while you have none ), but now it's the real, final exams.
Exciting, eh, realising that there's no more of a certain subject? Tomorrow, no more Geography, yesterday, no more Bio, etc.
Morning!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 6, 2001
Monday, no more English Lit... only I've already had my last ever Drama everything...
I've still got some Bio left to do...
BTW- I've just opened your chat page if you want to talk.

Chris Tonks Posted Jun 6, 2001
True, no more Lit. Still, I always counted that as just English.
You've still got some Bio to do? How come?
Ack, I wish I could, but I'm off to watch Poirot on TV now. I'll be on from 8 till 10 tomorrow night though, I promise.
Morning!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 6, 2001
Well, because we only have two science papers, they give us one module that we've learnt this year from each subject in one paper. They also give us a few questions from the modules we did last year and did modular tests on... but anyway, I've still got a third of a paper on Bio left to do...
*grin* You should have your computer in the same room as the TV! I'm watching Poirot (well, the ads) right now.

Chris Tonks Posted Jun 6, 2001
Hmmm... Diferent exam boards sure do things differently.
You like programmes like Poirot? I always watch things like that. A Touch Of Frost is my favourite.
Morning!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 8, 2001
Too right!!
Yes I do, I watch Poirot whenever I get a chance. Never seen A Touch of Frost though... I think Morse could be my favourite.

Chris Tonks Posted Jun 8, 2001
Oh, I love to watch Morse too, and Midsummer Murders, if you've ever seen those.
Whew, that's the first week of exams over with, and I'm still alive, and you are too it seems!
Morning!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 8, 2001
Hey! Finally, someone who understands my taste in programs! (Do you like Have I Got News For You? And other stuff like that?) No, I haven't seen Midsummer Murders, but I haven't ever noticed them being on...
It does seem so... *pinches herself* yes, I felt that..
¦M¦
Morning!
Chris Tonks Posted Jun 8, 2001
Yep - I just watched both that and They Think It's All Over too!
Midsummer Murders are admittedly on at quite random times, and I occasionally miss them, because I wasn't warned beforehand.
Well, just two more weeks of exams (we can do this...) and then FREE for 10 weeks!!
Morning!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 8, 2001
Wow...!!! Someone really does watch the same stuff as me...!! (How about Jonathon Creek? )
10 whole weeks!!!

Chris Tonks Posted Jun 8, 2001
Hmm, I only watched one episode of that. I really did like it (), and would have watched the rest, only I didn't. I honestly can't remember why though... I'll make a point to watch them when they're repeated.
Face it, we just have good taste.
*Dreams about turning over monthly pages in his calender three times before having to go back to school...*
Morning!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 8, 2001
Good!! They're good.
That must be it! Why didn't I think of that!!?
Ooooohhhh... good point!! *also dreams of having to turn her calender over three times before going back to school...*

Now, the final question: what type of music do you listen to?
Ah, I simply can't wait... I'm already setting up my level editor to get down to making some multiplayer levels for Unreal Tournament.
