"Yes Pierce, on my 40th birthday I went to Avimore in Scotland and learned how to ski, since I skated a lot I found skiing came fairly naturally. Really had a good time as there were a lot of Canadians working at the resort and playing for the hockey team. I ended up spending a lot of time in the staff accomodation, and on my last night I got back to my hotel at 8 o'clock the next morning, just in time to pack and catch my train out of Dodge. Gwennie, you're right about the suitcase thing, I bought a waterbed 6 years ago and carried it around in my luggage for 3 years. Still, I do enjoy travelling and living in warm, sunny places."

Thanks for the towel, Gwennie. Now can I have a also? And I do believe mari-rae would appreciate a refill while you are at it...
Try to soak the raisins in cognac for a day before you put them in the gløgg, Gwennie. Dry fruits soaked in alcohol always work wonders with in-laws
I tried skiing once, sultan, would love to try it again. Since my country is very flat and snowless most of the time we don't do much skiing here. Lots and lots of danes travel to Norway, Sweden and the Alps to ski there, though.
How much do you pay for overweight when flying with a waterbed?

*Gives Pierce a , for the refill and ecard!!*
I would dearly love to travel overseas. Have done a lot of poking around in the States and Canadian Rockies, though.

So you DID get the card? My puter told me there was a lot of trouble sending it, so I'm not sure who received it and who didn't.
Cheers!

"Rockies are full of outstanding natural beauty Marie-Rae, I travelled across Canada in my teens in a VW beetle, all the way from Ottawa to Vancouver, stopping to work in the Okanogan Valley in British Columbia to top up the cash tank. Great trip there and back."

I've never been skiing. *Wistful sigh*
Still, it's probably just as well as disasters (natural and man-made) seem to follow me where ever I travel to as well as me being naturally accident-prone.
During my teens, my school organised a skiing holiday to Switzerland and I stayed at school rather than go because I just knew that I'd break something or cause somebody else to break a limb! As it turned out, the games mistress returned with her arm in a sling...
On another school trip to a farm, my class tutor who was walking along side me fell down into the manure collector from a battery hen farm (and then I had to sit next to him on the coach home too!).
Two villages where I have lived had planes crash into them and a fireworks factory blew up. Then there was the time a girl doing a sponsored parachute jump was killed by landing into the rotor blades of a helicopter (yuck!). Ferries that I have recently travelled on have sunk and even trains or planes crashed. Shortly after we moved to New Zealand, we were hit by a tornado that devastated the next town to us! Now you know why I'm a natural pessimist!
So, who wants to come on a holiday with Gwennie then?

For my 40th BD...I was given a nice little snub nose 38...I was in the midst of having my cabin built...& the builder was ripping me off....so, I decided I was either going to shoot the builder or the cabin! After much thought and counseling from a group of stoned friends...I came out to the cabin, and shot the Hell out of it! Do you know that a hollow point 38 bullet barely makes a mark on a round log! But it was okay, becaus the very next time I saw the builder...big tough chap...I made him cry!!!!! HA!!!!!! Oh what a fond memory....for me, that is...
I shall now begin the PARTY!!!!! *removes panties...twirls them over her head & with eyes closed...snaps the band*

I made my boss cry once. I told him he was the worst boss I had ever experienced in my life. It was during my yearly review. The guy was really hurt. He was a terrible boss, though. He played favorites. Don't remember now how my review went after that.

Thanks for the love & kisses...Sultandude, I'm a bit afraid to open your gift ...I think I need several more martinis...thanks mari-rae...yummy!!! I'm planning on staying completely soused for the entire week-end...so pardon my typos...
Sultandude, your space is pretty cool...sounds as though you have an interesting life. My fav cousin 'Larry' may move to Thialand, as that's where his girlfriend is from. 'Addie' is unable to practice law here so she wants to return.
Haapy week-end everybody!!!!!!!!!

It's a set of Chippendale videos...There's this one chap that...*drags Pandora and Mari-Rae off to a quiet corner and the girls break into a fit of giggles*
It's okay Pierce. Don't worry about me being on your ship too much as it's been almost a year now since the place I used to live in burned to the ground (ask Mari-Rae - she knows all about it!).
*Wanders off to check out Sultandude's page*
