Oh, that TJ is always waxing poetic about my beauty ... but then again, that's his job!
And you haven't seen pictures of me in my new glasses! Pure , I tell you!

Don't worry Shea - the doctor told me that it was time for me to get bifocals also, only I wear contacts. They do have bifocal contacts, they are weighted so that they always float in the same position in your eye. However the eyedoctor discouraged me from getting them because (in his words) "they're crap". What they do instead is they give a contact in one eye for distance, and in the other for close up. Then your eyes blend the two and make your brain believe both eyes can see both distance and close up! 95% of the time it works, however the other 5% I find myself closing one or the other eyelid trying to figure out depth perception
I'm sure the innocent passerby's just think I'm winking at them!

oh
you mean you weren't?
ps: the next step for me will be to get contacts so i can see out to my glasses who then take over and do the rest of the eye-w*rk

is this turning into a competition?
i've had bifocals for six years
- but only because i talked my opticion out of giving me some years before that
as for the eyepatch i might as well wear one in RL also. i only see somthing like 10 percent with my right eye
but since i was born that way i've never thought of that as a being a problem. not as such, anyway. but of course i sometimes worry that something might happen to my left eye .
but hey, we will cross that bridge if we get there. no sooner
