Calvin and Hobbes cartoons? Danger remember what they used to say about opening Pandora's box.
It might even include a 'Toledo Strip'

So then, who *is* snowed in today?
by the way, I am back in the rainy season here. It poured down in the night, and I have to go to the beach later and take some photos at low tide. The sand always moves about quite a lot in the winter, but last night when I walked along it in the dark the tide was right out and the whole beach looked like a different place. Rocks had been uncovered, and the sand swept away by the storms that must have happened whilst I was away. I'd like to capture this effect, as I presume the sand will be re-deposited in its normal place over the next few weeks.

Mother Nature is letting us have sunshine this week in Boston. No new snow, but the old snow is haning on because the temperatures hover around the freezing point without getting above it much.

Hovering around 0 to -1 or -2 here in bristol mostly. The slush is starting to crisp up again as evening sets in. A few inches of snow...
Biggest danger? Children throwing snowballs at vehicles as they drive past. Even with their parents watching. It's not a good idea to throw things at moving cars, even 'harmless' stuff like snowballs. Bloody idiots

I should say not! That would make you take your concentration off driving at the very least.

And that temperature is probably too cold for walking very far, so you may be stranded for a while. Here, have some and .

If it is that cold outside, I can't see any reason for going far, unless you have no food or other essential supplies. Keep warm!

I tend to worry about people going hungry. Edward Gorey wrote a book about some people who were stranded in a cottage by heavy snow. There was nothing to eat except some saltine crackers and some flour, so they made white sauce and poured it over the saltines. On the fifth day, one of them died. So, do not try to survive on crackers and white sauce. it could eb deadly.

on the other hand, who knows how many would have died had they *not* eaten saltines covered in white sauce
