Flip-Flop, vegetable or fruit?
Does it actually matter what your degree is in?
If a Woodchuck could chuck wood, why doesn't it get a job as a lumberjack and stop spending my taxes the skiving rodent!

Greetings from Stockport, Joanna from Didsbury!
[Actually, I'm in Liverpool, at work. I live in Stockport.] Random thoughts. The first one is a bit heavy, but fun just the same:
Belief in objectivity is an act of faith.
Facts?!! [With contempt:] You can even prove things that are TRUE using facts!
Who cares, wins.
True: a garden, opened for charity, is called "sixty-five roses" after a young boy's name for his disease: cystic fibrosis. Bitter-sweet, eh?
A journey of a thousand sites begins with a single click.
That should keep you going for a little while!

Re nudists in the Arctic - there was definitely one there in 1968 - I think I may have been the first Arctic streaker. Of course this was in summer, the air temp was a comfortable - two degrees C.

BuskingBob Posted Jul 20, 2000
I was in the Royal Navy on exercise up there. Apart from being one of the coldest streaks ever, it was possibly one of the shortest - less than a hundred yards!

Didn't the RN have a guided missile called Blue Streak? .....

Can we have a finite definition of truth? If so where would the sentance "This sentance is untrue." fit? Is it all as grey as John Major's Spitting Image puppet?
