No, it was probably UH, he tried to take out the primary packs, and must have seen your satchel as a good spot...

*reads Venom's mind again*
I know, that'd be a plus point.

You are too good at that mind-reading stuff... I'd, of course, need a key, since it will be spending much of it's time on this station...

I know, there's actually a reason behind that, you might find out one day. However, I try not to mind-read everyone... LoC and all that.
Anyway, the "key" would probably end up being part of my genetic code, which is my own property and therefore you can't have a copy.

*starts bio-scanning him* It's legal as long as I don't use it for profit.

*a small laser-beam emerges from the top of Axe's pen (located inside his pocket). It hits the scanner and blocks it until CV moves it away. The laser also has the effect of wiping the info already stored on the scanner*

*Litestep, being outside of it's element, is shut down, and the bio-scan is routed, encrypted, to Venom's personal files, in a password-protected folder, which is backed up onto a computer which isn't even connected to the network (the robot does it by hand when I tell it to*
[EVA] *in an all-too-loud voice* Bio-scan complete. File backed up.
[CV] EVA, shut up!

[EVA] Litestep: This program has performed an EXTREMELY illegal operation and will be terminated.
[LS] AAAAHHHHHH! *as the security programs slowly kill it*
[Virus] Hmmm... Axe subnet... sounds fun!

[EVA] Command could not be completed. Computer systems are currently offline for maintainence.
[Axe] CV, just live with it: you mess about with computer cores, they're gonna want to integrity check some day. Also, the ECH is an integral part of the coding and cannot be removed as a safety precaution.
[EVA] That is correct. Estimated time till completion: 2448
