A human ranger, medium proficiency in combat and, well most things...
Do rangers get chance to use magic? if so, what kind?

Magic? Not really. Figthtermages have medium proficiency in /everything/...

I would like to be a warrior called Mace (which tells you what kind of guy he is) who would have a very big sword called Turnik. Turnik would be magical, and have the conscience of Maces dead father in it. As you know, magical swords can talk, but usally conversation with one is extremely dull. They just complain a lot mostly, but are very loyal and are useful for cutting things up with (i.e fruit, trees for fire wood, and the occasional bandit).
However, Mace regrets asking the Oracle to put his ftahers persoanlity in the sword as it just continues twenty three and a half years of arguments, disagreements and bad grammar.
Mace is actually quite intelligent, he is good at contatc sports and is very large. If you have seen the barbarian in Severance (PC game) you know what I'm talking about.
Mace also has a horse called Barney, which eats too much, smells badly and talks. BArney the talking horse is very cynical and dislikes MAce, but stays with him because.... well, he lieks tormenting MAce and MAce can't afford a new horse.
Is that all I have to tell you?
Can I join an adventure now?

Er, sure. Just let me get an idea for one, and start one, too ...

It sounds to me like part of the reason Mace can't afford a new horse is that nobody would want to buy Barney off him...

Who was that person who wandered into The Great Werewolf Caper? Is he/she a new character or an accidental tourist? What is in this box ?

I wonder, if characters in my story look exactly like certain celebrities and I name them, will that compromise the integrity of the literary piece or add to the visionary effect? i.e. the reverse-werewolf that attacked Miss Shoemaker (red dress) was based on Art Alexakis, lead singer of EVERCLEAR.

I don't know. Especially since I haven't the first idea as to who Art Alexakis or EVERCLEAR are.

If anyone else becomes a character I think we need someone else in our group and I don't know who EVERCLEAR are either.

Maces' group that is. BEcuase if a henchman can't lead then we really only have two characters in the group.... well, you're the ghastly madman, I'm sure you can sort it out.

Everclear is an American pop-rock band with country influences. Very melodious. Mr. Marsters looks an auful lot like Clive Anderson.

Alight, how does this work for a character:
Chaos...Esper (maybe someone could summon me?)...my other realm, Mount Olympus...obviously a mage (or Archmage, if you will). Unless you want Gods in your world...
Hmm. I was brought into this world of mortals and I am totally out of place (real enough) So at this time, I owe no allegience to anyone and can still be swayed. Any other suggestions, those of you experienced.

Sounds interesting. Just remember not to god-mode or control other people's characters and everything should turn out just peachy.
