Croquet on the lawn
Babel17 Posted Jun 12, 2000
*notices his own ball is nestled next to another. Plays the classic move by placing a foot on his own ball, hitting this ball, causing the other to roll 20 yards off the lawn. Evil Grin. Takes own shot and manages to hook it through second hoop.*
Yesssssss!!!!!

*Admires Babel-17's classic moves, then realises in horror that it was her ball knocked out of the lawn*
MENZA!!!!! We're losing!

GreeboTCat Posted Jun 13, 2000
~Greebo grins evilly and places a small blob of superglue on Menza's mallet... she then finds an orange... cuts it in quarters... removes the fruit... artfully cuts the skin and hands Doc E... the finished product... ~
New teeth for you... ~grin~... no one will be able to tell them from your original... and... ~snigger~... your breath will smell sweeter as well!!!

Menza Posted Jun 13, 2000
*Turns mallet round to use the other side of the head, then strikes the ball. Which rolls gently through the second hoop*
Is that better Ma'am?

GreeboTCat Posted Jun 13, 2000
~Greebo sniggers at Doc E. but tries to keep a straight face... She applies some superglue to the other end of Menza's mallet...~

*LOL* *wanders aimlessly around among those who are actually playing and asks lots of annoying questions* how do you actually play this? and while we're at it - are these hoops wooden or tin? *g*

coelacanth Posted Jun 15, 2000
*with the cleaned up mallet, Menza approaches the ball once more. After carefully examining the shot from all angles, he takes a swing and aims the mallet at the ball. With a sure and true shot, it rolls through the third hoop easily.*
WAHAY! We're winning!
I think.

~Greebo giggles... and sneakily moves her ball through the next hoop~
Croquet on the lawn
coelacanth Posted Jun 15, 2000
*whilst doing this, Greebo gets stuck under the hoop. She wriggles and manages to pull it out of the lawn. However, it is stuck tight around her middle. She has to walk about like this for the rest of the game.
This is much to the hilarity of the others, but Greebo tries to maintain the air of indiference that only a cat can have*
