There was a movie made not to long ago about a guy who like both SW and ST and fanatic friends from both genres try to kidnap him and brainwash him. It's like a geek war!

There is really nothing that can be done with Astro. Someone who not only doesn't know enough before making an opinion but doesn't care to know should just be ignored... maybe the frui... vege...
pain in the
will get tired (or dare I say it - grow some manners) and leave...

Back to the topic of killing houseplants for a bit...
I unintentionally killed a whole room full of plants a couple decades ago.
What happened was that we didn't have heat in all the rooms of this big old farmhouse we were living in, and the one room that wasn't heated had a lot of plants in it. We'd had cold weather with the plants showing no ill effects, but one night it got down to about -10F, and with no heat in the room, that room was literally freezing. But did I know that? Noooooooooooo.... I didn't have a thermometer in there.
So when I got up in the morning and went to check on the plants, I thought they'd all be dead... But I walked in the room and they all looked absolutely *perfect*! It must not have gotten all that cold in there after all!
At least that's what I *thought* at the time...
Then I touched one, and it shattered in my hand, because they were frozen solid!
I'm glad to know that clorox kills plants though... I'll be trying that on the poison ivy we get in our flower beds every summer.

I'd suggest Round-Up instead. The use of any chemicals can poison the soil adn kill insects and birds. ROund-Up breaks down quickly.

Kinda difficult for me to give you centigrade temps...my converter doesn't seem to want to convert negative farenheit temps for some reason.
