The Aussies have left the field due to bad light.

what a shame!
Heavy rain is forecast. But I'm astonished they came off for bad light. How negative is that?

Symptomatic of this Aussie side. They've got it into their heads they're going to loose the ashes and it's getting to them. It's only their shear competitive drive that is keeping them going. WA's theory anyway.

One of the things I always admired about Aussie teams of recent years is the way they always back themselves in any situation! Ricky really doesn't cut the mustard!

Come on now, all day rain on Saturday and I will chirp up a bit.
I *still* think it is very much advantage Australia at the moment.

Yeah it was; so why on earth did they come in when they need to win. It's psychological stuff like that, that can turn a match. The Aussies have been masters of it in recent years by their unbridled positivity. This smacks of cautiousness, which will give England hope.
I think Ponting is a dreadful captain. Okay, they may still win, but this is not the best way to go about it. I can hear hear Steve Waugh screaming from here!

we don't even need rain - bad light will do!
I live a mile from the Oval and I reckon my great Aunt could bat still in my back garden!

If they lose most of tomorrow the aussies will need at least 2 and half sessions to get level so late on sunday afternoon. they will then need another 2 sessions to set a target leaving england 2 sessions to bat on monday .thats depending if their not bowled out.england can also set defencive fields slowing down the scoring rate .I just hope it pours it down tomorrow at least

Well we could do with a couple of sessions rained off tomorrow ideally, then do my streaker trick. A really slow over rate (take the fine Vaughnie). Really defensive fielding, the Aussies have to set a leed lets face it.
