Has one of your dreams ever came true?
Rains - Wondering where time's going and why it's in so much of a hurry! Posted Oct 10, 2005
The connection with cheese was apparently because cheese can be quite a high fat food, and apparently the effort required to digest it while you were asleep affected the quality and content of your dreams...
Or so I remember, anyway. I've never had a nightmare after eating cheese, either!

Four children is lots - I don't know if I could cope with two, let alone four!
I've remembered a dream I had ages ago, and I suppose it did come true in a way.
Ages ago, when I was going out with one particular guy and was pretty happy, I dreamt that I was in love with someone else who I was friends with. As I'm now married to that someone else I can say that it did come true!
It was kind of weird, as it was several months after that dream before I started even thinking of him like that, and I wrote the dream off as my brain just being . I mean, before that I dreamt that I slept with my boss, and thankfully that hasn't happened!

Not dreams but I had a couple of strange psychic experiences last night (yeah alright, strange coincedences). I was watching the footie last night and the Polish team made a substitution. As I saw the Polish player coming on - no 17 - I immediately thought "He's gonna score". He did. Later on I was talking music taste with the ewif. As we discussed her brother for some reason I said "I bet he likes Echo and the Bunnymen". I was right. It's his favourite group. All very odd.

I'm not sure it's her name, Kirenia... anyway-
I've just remembered an old childhood dream of mine was marrying a man with clear blue eyes and dark hair. Surprisingly, that's what my husband looks like. I haven't thought about that one in years...

Purely out of interest, as a child, did you read/watch/have read any childrens stories? Ones that might have featured fairytale weddings and the like? I wonder what eye colour/hair colour the bloke might have had in them?
And even if not, blue eyes/dark hair, hardly unusual is it?

Very unusual in Israel, Ictoan. Most men are dark haired, dark eyes and dark skinned.
You're right about the fairy tale angle, I guess, but everybody there are usually blonde, and to be honest, I'm not a fan of blondes...
I think fair skin was featured in my dream, too, but it was years ago.

Ah well, there ya go. Maybe you just wanted someone a bit different then?
Sorry, just being a bit stroppy today and couldn't resist!
There are things which are odd enough to be investigated further, but I think picking a handful of attributes correctly about ones future partner isn't really one of them.
There are many and varied normal explanations of such dreams/reality without resorting to prophetic dreams and the like.
