I'm halfway through my caramel waffles. That is unacceptable.

That has to make a mess of your waffle iron.

Better a wafle iron than an iron waffle.

The caramel is usually applied after the actual waffling process. (slice warm, still soft waffle cookie, apply caramel paste on one side, place other half back, let it cool down to set (or even better: eat while still warm))

Deb - I'm in goo, too. That's where I get the FOUR cookie windows.

Maybe cookies stick in goo?

I tweeted at the company responsible for these annoying popups, informing them that they are not working properly. If anyone else wants to also tweet at them, they are @transfon . I'm also wondering if is aware of this situation.

Insert "any" before the
Also, this issue has suddenly gotten much worse for me in Brunel. Now it's popping up on every single page opening or refreshing.

Same for me in Goo - four, including one that can't be clicked 'Accept' on covering the buttons on the left.

Hmmm... Odd... I thought I might make a futile post to Feedback. And suddenly I'm not seeing the annoying pop up now. I didn't actually make a post, just went to the Feedback page via the Pliny front page. Maybe when I clicked accept in Pliny it "stuck", at least for now.
The little shield at the lower left is still there, but it's out of my way, so I don't care.
I'll see if having one tab with Pliny open keeps the pop-up away.
I'll let y'all know how it goes.

I have four of those little shields. But, as you say, they don't really disturb the overall picture. But those cookie windows obliterate the whole screen.
I know those Dutch caramel waffles, Caiman - they are so filling, they replace at least two meals!

Has anyone else been seeing the huge top banner lately? I hope my tweet at the company got their attention. I'm no longer seeing it in either Pliny or Ripley.

Since when do we have to accept cookies?
Milla, h2g2 Operations Posted May 20, 2020
Hi.
So here's the thing.
h2g2 has no income besides the ads. And even those aren't giving huge amounts of income...
So it's necessary to figure out how we can get the best out from the ads. For that, it's necessary to track usage, and thus accept cookies.
So, please bear with us until we have figured out the best way to show ads, and to get income.
thanks

I have nothing but best wishes for you and for the income-gathering operations.
I have nothing against cookies, and wold put up with some inconvenience.
But, the thing is that I've repeatedly told them what I want, and they keep asking the same thing. Is there a way to streamline this so that they remember?
