I've learned that communication can be hard even when two people are within earshot pretty much all the time.

Today I learned that a barnacle's a crustacean, and not related to the limpet (a mollusc). Apparently this took Darwin a long time to work out too.


But what can I do with this new-found knowledge?

When saying "Blistering Barnacles!" you can rest assured that you can't be mistaken. "Blistering Limpets!" definitely has a different taste to it. Now you know why...

Around 1:00 AM today, I learned that hurling a coccyx against the edge of a bath-tub, bouncing a head twice off of the hard floor, and also somehow banging hell out of rib all add up to a wonderful ride in an ambulance and meeting some great people at our local hospital emergency room.

I have had so many injuries over the past 50 years, these wouldn't detract much of anything. X-rays show very few bones that have not been broken or scarred in my person.

Congestive heart failure is the primary cause - and how it affects everything. So since I am forcibly retired from the work-force - - - Just another 'circumstance'.
