We have a pretty good niche on the 'net. Our entries are fun to read, as well as informative. I would be proud of this site because I'm part of it, but I think it's great in more objective ways as well.

Not for nothing that H2G2 has been officially listed as one of the top 100 best websites.

Actually its rather old news, GB has details.
For myself, barring emergency, I'm going the concentrating on more writing next month.
I've run out of excuses for further procrastinating.

You can find it in Pliny on the front page, near the bottom between "The Post" and "Latest Activity".

h2g2 no longer being a foot in the door at BBC, obviously the answer is to work out options for members that can pay.

Entertainment is something people will sometimes pay for.
2Legs is usually entertaining.
Icy's quizzes bring people back again and again.

Ugh...
I do hope all those participating in NaJoPoMo adopt the practice of using just one journal entry and updating that one each day rather than creating new journal entries each day.
It gets quite unwieldy as new entries quickly bump posts just a week old off the bottom of conversation lists.
And when one wants to find a conversation more than a year old, hitting each November in the list becomes quite a slog.

On that last, it sure would be nice to have search engine for exploring indivual threads and features like the Journal, where one could simply plug the address and an approximate date to plug into the thread, then scroll from there.
