So I've got myself a trip to Leeds next month. Any suggestions for things to do/see of an evening? Any nice quiet pubs?

And yes, I've read A87740346

Will you have your own transport with you? Between Leeds and Bradford there is the Guinness Book of Records record-breaking Harry Ramsdens chippy, which I think has a nice atmosphere and well worth a visit.

There are a few surprisingly nice places in the Trinity Centre - I think. I've not actually eaten in there yet, but they look nice from the outside. The trouble is, whenever I find a nice restaurant in Leeds that I really like, by the next time I'm up visiting my inlaws and have time away from the kids they've closed.

Harry Ramsden;'s at Guisley closed down a couple of years ago. Such a shame. It was a unique place that served fabulous FnC.

However, I would thoroughly recommend a visit to the City Market. All sorts of proper stalls in a a proper indoor market setting.

But better than a train to Manchester (where the rainbows are in black and white), there is a train to Bradford where you will find the National Media Museum.

Thanks for those. As I'm working in media, I can't imagine a worse thing to do in my spare time than visit a media museum. I'm sure it's great, though.

There's a fair chance that I'll be in Leeds at some point next month too. Visiting the inlaws.

In fact, that's what I'm doing now - don't burgle my house while I'm out...
