Well not long to go eh folks? I thought probably time to get an "Anyone Watching" thread set up for Hootooizens who are eagerly awaiting the final series of Breaking Bad.

The best show on TV maybe?

Joining in!

I only watched the last series, though my husband and friend A have watched them all. For the last series, we would invite friend A and freind B (who, like me, was only picking it up at the latest series) round for dinner each Monday evening, and we'd watch it together.

Hmmm, might need to think of some more Breaking Bad inspired meals.....

Otto Fisch ("Stop analysing Strava.... and cut your hedge")

I thought so. A little *too* neat? Probably not...

Some fantastic scenes and dialogue and acting... outstanding.

I was forwarded this cartoon showing why a UK remake is unlikely...

Heard an interesting theory.

Walter died of hypothermia in the car and never found the keys. All that follows is how he dreamt it would end.

Reinforced by:

The watch left at the call box signifying stepping out of time,
Walter telling the NY Times "This will make a helluva story"
"No replacement for displacement" as said by the Nazi guard is a reference to a Freudian theory (apparently)
Jesse Pinkman having a similar dream sequence reinforces the idea that we are seeing how both characters *wanted* things to end.
This being Walter's fantasy, everything falls into place for him.

So in reality, Walter dies unfulfilled and Jesse is still a slave in a meth lab.
