Ok, not the same thing but something that has always amused me in Moscow is when they appropriate English words. Because there isn't a 1:1 transcription so 'business lunch' becomes 'bisnis lanch' and so on. They recently did the English lyrics for a pop idol type program the same way.

'Shiz gat ze luk/ wat in ze wald kan mek ei bran eid girrrrrrrl turrrrrrrn blu/ etc'
