The bit that is most amusing me at the moment, is where they say it contained 'up to' 100% horse...
Pure horseburgers! If you could get that for beef, that would be something.

up to.... think of all those poor people only getting 70% horse

Icy North Posted Feb 11, 2013
I love the phrase 'up to 100%'. It's totally redundant. "contains horse' is enough.
Horse
Geggs Posted Feb 11, 2013
But if it's 100% then it doesn't just contain horse. It's completely horse. It's horse.

After reading that last post I can't get rid of the mental image of a McDonald's Burger bun with four hooves sticking out of it...

We're getting into set theory now, Geggs. A set is a member of itself, etc.

Just mix all the meat up and sell only mince and sausages or derivative products. Label everything simply as 'meat'. Save a lot of hassle.

Also, 100% horse would mean the burgers aren't contaminated with anything...they ARE horse burgers....yum.
At what percentage would a beef burger go from being 'contaminanted with horse meat' to becoming a horse burger contaminated with bovine meat?.

There's speculation that the hotel I'm staying in just now is serving horse bacon at breakfast.
Certainly doesn't taste like any bacon I've had before.
